Miami Implant Fellowship

The 12 month fellowship program incorporates:

Theoretical & Practical Training
University of Miami & DIA Lecture programs from world class lecturers including Professor Michael Peleg, Assoc. Prof. Robert E. Marx and Assoc. Prof. Dragan Grubor.

Live Surgical Training
University of Miami supervised live surgical training with placement of 20 implants & 2 sinus lifts.

Program Curriculum

Basic Implantology
Unit 1
Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on content, learn the theoretical basics and practical procedures for simple, single implant placement and restoration.
Note: Exemption for experienced Implantologists.

Implant Restoration Procedures
Unit 2
Learn the latest treatment options for the successful planning and restoration of single and multi-unit implant cases with the aid of hands-on workshops. Exploration of CAD/CAM technology and its application to the modern implant practice.

University of Miami Lecture Series
Unit 3
Cover key surgical and restorative considerations for implant placement including Bone Physiology, Tissue Engineering, Prosthetic Planning, Sinus Lifting and Alveolar Bone Reconstruction. With world leading Professors, this is a truly invaluable program.

University of Miami & DIA Live Implant Surgery
Unit 4
Place 20 implants and perform 2 sinus lifts under full time Specialist instruction.
Advanced surgical programs incorporating block and tissue grafting procedures are available to experienced clinicians.

Advanced DIA hands-on Courses
Unit 5
Two-day hands-on advanced program covering implant Surgery, sinus lifting, bone grafting and full-arch solutions. Alternatively choose 2 electives from a range of advanced hands-on courses.

Implantology Mentorship Program
Unit 6
Ongoing mentorship from DIA’s national network of Specialists, Dentists & Marketing and Finance experts covering all aspects relevant to the success of your implant practice.
