Place Scan Bodies
The scan posts connect to multi-unit abutments. Seat each ARCHITECH scan body and screw to finger tight (≈ 5–8 N cm).
Connect the ScanChain™
Connect the ScanChain™ from one end of the arch to the other so there is no contact with soft tissue. Keep one free link at each end and trim any excess.
Take the Scan
Scan the implant arch, opposing arch and bite using the Moredent recommended scanning protocol.

When do I use the system?
Any multi-unit implant case where there are large (more than two teeth) edentulous spans). It can be used for both mid-surgery and final implant position scans.
How do I connect the scan posts to my implants?
The scan posts connect to multi-unit abutments using the included 1.27mm (0.05”) prosthetic screws.
Do I need extra software?
No. ARCHITECH works with your native scanner software.
Do I need photogrammetry?
No. The elastic ScanChain™ bridges any soft tissue spans between implants. This allows you to accurately scan the implant positions and soft tissues in a single scan.
Do I need any special tools?
